The American Hoedowners from Kentucky are really cutting a dash at their various performances during the past week. Accompanied by the ‘Velvet Blue’ bluegrass band they have given great entertainment to Bluegrass enthusiasts at all the venues they played in. The American group who are staying in Carrigaline arrived a week early for Damhsafest 2012 - the Cork International Folk Dance Festival

Read MoreThe American Hoedowners are the first foreign group to arrive for the 2012 Cork International Folk Dance Festival - Damhsafest. The Hoedowners from Kentucky accompanied by the Bluegrass Velvet Blue Band will be performing at a few venues during the week. They will all perform at concerts in the Carrigaline Court Hotel on Wednesday 25th July 2012 and in the Cork City Hall on Saturday 28th July 2012.
